It also protects the coverless comic. The overall condition of this coverless comic is very solid. Slight soiling to the pages, because of it being coverless. Light wear along length of spine, but the staples are clean and securely attached to all pages including centerfold. Cross-like dents on the back cover and interior pages, as if this comic had once been in a bundle bound with string. Back three pages have tears 1″ to 3″ in length at bottom. Slight moisture stain on the back page near upper left section. Overall solid page quality, light cream to mostly off-white pages, with no apparent brittleness.
