Cover & Spine: The cover remains vibrant with some age-appropriate wear. There is light creasing and some rounding at the corners. The spine shows some wear/stress lines but is holding together well. Interior: The pages have a nice cream-to-off-white tone. The 1953 Milky Way back-cover ad is intact and looks great for its age. Completeness: The book is complete with no missing pages or cutouts. This is a beautiful Pre-Code Golden Age Superman. Issue #83 is highly sought after by collectors for the classic “dummy in the cell” cover gag. This particular copy features a clear date stamp on the back cover (April 30, 1953), adding a nice touch of provenance for history buffs.
