Action Comics #252 (1959, Dc) 1st App. Supergirl And Metallo G-vg! Very Nice

Action Comics #252 – May, 1959 – The first appearance of Supergirl! This is a very solid reading copy of this all-time classic Silver Age comic! The cover and centerfold are attached at both staples. Please see the close-up photos of the centerfold staples above, as well as shots of the front and back covers as they hang open when the books is laid flat. There is sign of slight water damage on the lower left corner that only shows on the front and back covers — it doesn’t show up on the interior pages. There is no writing on the cover or interiors. There are no tears on the interior pages. The bottom of the back cover has a slightly rough edge (please see second photo) and there is a tiny 3/8 wide hole just off the center of the back cover, which I have taken close-ups of and circled only in the image!! This book has been in my collection for a quarter century or so and it is time to let someone else love it like I have. I haven’t put a grade on a comic since before Overstreet changed to a 1-10 system, but I think this book deserves to be called G-VG — which is pretty damn fine for a 57 year old comic book — let alone a key issue like this one!
