Action Comics #302 1963 Graded 7.0 Just Graded-New Holder
Action Comics #302 1963. I just got this book back from CGC. It graded 7.0 and looks very nice in the new holder. I said I was interested so he came back with a comic storage box with 80 Silver Age comics from 1957 to 1969 which is in the time frame I read comics as a kid, specifically 1958 to 1964. All the books were in heavy mylar sleeves and I could tell the comics were in nice condition and he took care of them! We made the deal and I brought home 80 comics. I was not a comic collector but I looked at each book and remembered so many of the classic covers. After I spent time looking through them I put them back in the storage box and put the box on a shelf in my storage room. Those comics sat on that shelf for 40 years. In January I started to clean out my storage room and there was the box of comics. I went through them carefully and was surprised at the overall excellent condition they were in. In the end I decided to send them to CGC for grading. The grades were pretty much as I expected with some books grading higher and some books grading lower but the majority were about what I had graded. Every comic book in the new holders looked beautiful no matter what the grade was! If you have questions please message me.

The product is a vintage single issue comic book from 1959, titled Action Comics 248. This key issue features the first appearance and origin of The Congorilla, along with other notable characters like Superman, Tommy Tomorrow, and Congo Bill. With a colorful style and artwork by Stan Kaye and Curt Swan, this comic from the Silver Age era of US comics is a must-have for collectors of superhero and adventure comics. The comic is a first printing and includes iconic characters from the DC Universe, making it a valuable addition to any comic book collection. My attempt to give the comic a grade is based on my experience getting comics graded through CGC it is in no way a guarantee that the comic will grade a 4.0. I do try to be fairly conservative.
