Action Comics #255 1st Bizzaro Lois/4th Supergirl! 1959 Superman KEY 4.5-5.0

Here is a a nice copy of one of the KEY issues of the early Silver Age: Action Comics #255, 1959, “The Bride of Bizarro” featuring the 1st appearance of Bizarro Lois, and the origin of Bizarro World. Also, the 4th appearance of Supergirl (backup story) and a Congorilla backup story. This book is in great shape with bright color on the cover and interior. Some spine wear, but both staples are solid. No major creases or tears. This book has been well cared for, stored untouched in Mylar for more than 60 years. A great balance between cost and condition. My best grade estimate would be around 4.5 – 5.0. Use the photos and decide for yourself. These would be a nice CGC book. Classic art and story from the key era of the Superman canon. A must-have for any Silver Age collector. The new Superman movie has sparked lots of interest in. In key silver age Superman books. This listing is for Superman #123, published by D. This comic was rated 2.5 (“Good+”) by CGC with “Cream to Off-White Pages”. We want happy customers. Please be aware that if you crack a comic out of its case for re-submission to a grading service, you are taking the risk in doing so, and we cannot be liable if you do not like how it is regraded. Broad selection & fair prices. We make every effort to disclose non-trivial damage to the holders, but minor imperfections such as light surface wear or slight inner well scuffing (present at the time of encapsulation) are common straight from CGC/CBCS/PGX. Newton Rings are also extremely common in newly slabbed CGC books (CGC tried to better protect the books by sandwiching them tighter in the cases, but as a result, a very large portion of newly slabbed books have some degree of rings). If these are important to you, please message and we’ll be happy to provide more detail on the case. For those unfamiliar with Newton Rings: This is an occasional effect produced by the inner and outer cases being in direct contact with one another. The visual effect is similar to oil on a water puddle because of the two plastics.
