The case may develop or have Newton rings. The older cases were sealed at only the four corner posts, and the SIDES were not sealed but have a slight opening. There is a sealed inner well that encases the comic that cannot be removed without breaking the four corner posts. The CGC label on top is NOT enclosed inside the case rather it is a sticker applied which is also normal on old style cases. The latest style CGC cases do NOT have openings on the sides (they are sealed) and the top label IS enclosed inside the case. This has created confusion for some new collectors who have only seen the new style case and then get an old style case. Please do an internet search “CGC case open on side” and you will see several links to CGC website that discuss how this is normal. Case is secure at all four posts and inner well intact as shown in the pictures. There are NO cracks or large scratches on this case. There may be other minor issues with the cases such as light scuffs, inner well scuffs, standard surface wear, Newton rings, or a small amount of debris inside all from the CGC encapsulation process. CGC considers these acceptable at the time of this listing. Please see the pictures. They are considered a part of the condition and item descriptions.
