Issue Note: Issue features an expanded version of Superman’s Origin by Bill Finger and Wayne Boring which focuses on his parents on Krypton and the politics around the destruction of the planet, much of which has been carried into modern retellings. Also features stories featuring art by Al Plastino. The comic is complete and intact with both staples attached to the cover. The cover color is nice but the back and inside covers show light tanning. The most noticeable flaw is the tear on the side of the front cover. There is another tear on the side of the back cover. There are very tiny pieces of tape along some of the edges and near the spine on the inside cover which I would grade as flaws (within GD range) as opposed to a restoration. The spine has some cracking but it seems to be contained and has good integrity. The interior pages are in really nice condition for the age, they have great color, and very little discoloration due to age.
