Superman : The Man Of Steel #18. CGC 9.8 NM/MT UNIVERSAL. 1st Full Appearance of Doomsday. Thought by Collectors, for many years, to not exist. Printed a 5th time. In super low #s. Jon Bogdanove & Dennis Janke cover & art. This was pressed before submitting. This is the closest I’ve come to finding a file copy, I found at a local book store, it was in an untouched, unread stack of old-stock comics that were in a box under paper. I use flash to show images most clearly. This enhances marks/issues more than seen with the naked eye, but also brightens overall. Of covers appearance as well. Any CGC graded slab can have newton rings or small scratches/scuffs. I try to take note of any noticeable damage to slabs. No Cracks on slab. This arrived from CGC with a small minor scuff/scratch mark on lower right corner front, near top, a small minor scuff/scratches near top back. I believe these are from the stacking tabs when slabs are being moved around before encapsulation. CGC says this falls under normal.
