Superman #75, Death of Superman, (Newspaper, Stamps, Poster)
The Death of Superman! The legendary issue that changed the expectations for Superman and his super adventures! In this lot, we have the famous comic book that actually depicts the well known storyline in which the heroic Man of Steel fights against the unstoppable monster Doomdsay! Experience the moments as Superman risks his life to take down this seemingly unstoppable villain to save Metropolis, unlike anything Superman had ever faced before! To further immerse yourself into the epic story, this lot comes with a newspaper reporting on Last Son of Krpyton’s untimely (yet totally planned out) demise in the DC universe. Also included are Death of Superman stamps and a poster, both of which were made by creatives Dan Jurgens and Brett Breeding. The comic is in amazing condition with little to no foxing or scuffing on the edges of the comic book. The gray color of the cover pops out, giving off the somber yet epic look of a tombstone in memoriam for our Man of Tomorrow. The poster, stamps and newspaper are practially untouched and in the latter two items, still folded as when they were first packaged. The only downside is the lack of the orginal plastic polybag along with the black armband that came with the comic in the first place yet regardless everything inside is intact excellently and in neat, clean condition. Whether you’re a Superman fan, a DC fan, a comic book collector or just excited for the new movie next year, this is a surefire win for anyone’s collection.
