Telling Boys & Girls to join the Superman Defense League of America. These all originally came folded. There’s only 4-5 of these posters known in existence. One of the most sought after of the Superman advertising pieces. For it to be 76 years old and from the World War 2 era, this poster is in incredible shape. The “print” did bleed after all these years while it was folded which is why you see a sort of shadow image on the poster. There are 2 4 tears on the creases as shown, but that’s as far as they go. This would look great professionally framed. There’s 2 of these posters. One advertises bread and the other doesn’t. This one doesn’t. The 2 posters are 1941 and same size. The bread one surfaced and became available for sale last year when a huge Superman collector passed away. Feel free to research it if you’d like.
