Ending Soon Certified Superman #75 Signed by Creator Jerry Siegel VERY RARE
UPDATE – Going to end all my unsold listings at end of this listing period. In the early nineties, I worked for a comic shop and had access to some great rare items. The Creator Series was comprised of a few, high demand issues signed by the creators of Batman, Superman, and the X-Men. Gentlemen that did not sign a lot of their comics. So an issue of any importance with their signature makes for a high-value item. The comic has NEVER been out of its mylar case since I received it. I have been the sole owner. The comic comes with a very nice wood case with a brass certificate of authenticity. The case is lined with a soft, velvet material. This comic has been stored in a dry, dark environment its whole life – not exposed to light or humidity. This item is signed #605 of #1250. The condition is NM. I have loaded several photos to show accurate condition. Photos are of the specific item up for sale. Superman Custom Statue by Erick Sosa, 1st Edition painted by John Allred
This is a Custom Superman sculpted by Erick Sosa. It was the first released version. Built and painted by, the talented John Allred. Very rarely do you see any completed ones go up for sale. The statue stands a little over 20 from the bottom of the stand to crown of it’s head. This piece has interchangeable emblems and belts. The other version is the Fleischer one. I have yet to see another one like this, with this color scheme. For size reference, The last pic shows it displayed with other 1/4 and 1/5 statues. DC Comics Presents 22 Whitman variant key Holy grail of RARE NICE SHAPE
According to many sources including several write-ups in Overstreet, is one of the rarest comics from the bronze age or beyond. And the rarest of the june 1980 whitman variants. Only around 10 or so copies are believed to exist. I peg this one at a 7.5. But please don’t take my word. Please judge for yourself from all the pics. Front cover: Slightest of folds on the front cover but undetectable unless up close. Runs from above the bar code to the “and” in the title. Pressing will easily remove this. Back cover: 2 faint creases on the bottom left and a small scratch at Dr J’s right shoulder. All corners are reasonably sharp without dog ears. Staples are tight No signs of restoration, writing, colouring of any kind, or impressions from writing. Complete with no rips or pieces missing. And no water or moisture damage or funny smell. White pages According to comicbookinvest , no copies surfaced for years that’s until just lately. Feel free to compare it with this one. Feel free to ask questions. Nice thing is that this I’m very confident that this is a super safe investment, one that’s only going to grow with time.
