Superman 76 CGC 5.0 VG/F OW/W DC 1952 1st Superman & Batman Team-up! For sale in this listing is. Superman 76 CGC 5.0 VG/F. With Off-White to White pages published by DC 1952. Considering how many comic books they appeared in separately it’s hard to believe it took until this issue in 1952 for Superman & Batman to finally team up together officially! (See: All Funny Comics 16 for first “unofficial” team-up) In this issue Superman & Batman “meet” for the first time and learn each other’s secret identities. This particular copy has two main defects. A faint waterstain on the cover and some non-colorbreaking creases on the bottom left back cover. Some collector is going to be very happy with this comic. Aside from the faint stain underneath Superman, the front cover looks like an F/VF! Someone will be getting a book that presents like a high grade copy for a mid-grade price! Action Comics 24 DC Superman 1940 Siegel Joe Shuster Cover Looks High Grade! For sale in this listing is Action Comics 24. Published by DC in 1940. This would have been a high grade copy except that it has a married back cover. The interior is complete but it is married to the back cover from a book I can’t identify. (It looks somewhat similar to the back cover to Detective Comics 27 but I can’t figure out what book it’s from) The front cover is in nice shape and so is the interior. The covers are held together with archival tape and japan paper, and there is color touch along the spine. Very bright, glossy copy with nice eye appeal.
