Superman #43 CBCS 5.5 not CGC SIGNED Superman Co-Creator Joe Shuster RARE 1/1

This is the one, we have been granted permission to sell this highly sought after item straight out of a private collection! Superman #43 boasts a beautiful yellow, Golden Age cover from 1946 and is graded 5.5 by CBCS. What makes this a connoisseurs must, is that it has been signed by the Superman Co-Creator, Joe Shuster and authenticated by CSA. The autograph is on the first page of the comic as was the custom up until the 1990’s. Joe Shuster passed away in 1992, this means that there are no CGC signature series comics signed by him. As such, this would be one of the very few graded comics in the world signed by Joe Shuster himself. Together with Jerry Siegel, Joe Shuster co-created Superman and these two will forever have a place in comic folklore! In perfect condition, having been kept in a private collection, this comic has not been seen by the public since entering one of Australia’s finest graded comic collections. Offered here is a Super Rare SUPERMAN PROTOTYPE 12 Action Figure and 3 different COSTUMES. The figure was made for Mattel in 2010 and for whatever reasons, was NEVER RELEASED. The likeness is incredible, the head and figure were never painted. The really interesting thing wiht this particular Prototype are the 3 different styles of his costume – the normal Red and Blue Body Suit, a solid Blue Body Suit. And a very non-traditional Light Green and Blue Body Suit with Red Cape and Boots which are made of cloth with a plastic sole. Also included is a personalized note from a Mattel employee who sent the Rare Prototype to a collector as a gift, both names have been hidden n the photos to secure the identity of both parties. SUPERMAN #285 COVER ART – ALL ORIGINAL. Primary Artist Name: NICK CARDY. Dimensions: The art has an image area of approximately 10″ x 15″. Awesome mid 70’s art. Rare and these hardly come up for sale. Superman is held captive by some ornery vegetation on this fine Nick Cardy cover to Superman #285 (1975). Cardy was one of DC’s main cover artists during the first half of the 1970s and he was very well-suited for the job. Nick Cardy was a wonderful artist who contributed excellent work all of the way from the early Golden Age (he joined the Eisner and Iger Studio in 1940), into the early 21st century. He’s best known for his work on the first 39 issues of the Silver Age Aquaman title, for his work on the original run of Teen Titans and for his key role as one of DC’s premiere cover artists in the early 1970s.
