Between December 2000 and September 2001, DC Comics published a line of 62 “Millennium Edition” one-shot reprints (note: this collection includes 33 of the 62 books). Each book reprinted a key issue from DC’s publishing history – first appearances, milestone issues, or landmark editorial shifts. All featured a distinctive gold foil stamp on the cover with the words “Millennium Edition” and a numbering system. Each also contained a short essay/introduction providing historical context about the significance of the issue. The print quality and recoloring is excellent for these reprints , as shown in a few photos in the listing. I take the first book out from the bag/board and take a photo so that you can see the general condition of the set. All comics are in excellent VF/NM condition, carefully bagged and boarded with acid-free materials, and stored in a climate-controlled environment by a dedicated comic book collector. See the grading guidelines below for reference. Take a look at my other complete DC Comics and Vertigo runs for sale to complete your collection! NM: A nearly perfect copy that looks brand new with only a few very minor defects. Acceptable minor defects on a NM copy include: a very small amount of spine stresses, very minor instances of denting (two or three at most), slight corner blunting, and minor (less than 1/8) bends without color breaks. VF: A VF copy has minor defects, but is in overall excellent condition. Most well-kept modern comics (especially if they have been read) fall into this grade. Acceptable defects on a VF are minor and include: Minor corner wear, a light accumulation of spine stress that may include color-break, a light accumulation of dents, and bends or folds less than 1/4 (note that on a VF copy, some color-break is allowed in a bend/fold).
