1993 DC Superman: The Man of Steel #22 Sealed Factory Shipper Box (200ct). Offered is a collection of 200 “Superman: The Man of Steel” #22 comics resting inside their original box. “The Man of Steel” #22 recounts the story of John Henry Irons and recounts the battle between Doomsday and Superman that resulted in the death of the beloved hero. Irons, a gifted engineer, created a mechanized suit that imitates the powers of Superman, with Steel wielding a sledgehammer, a nod to the legend of railroad worker John Henry. Among one of the four contenders to the Superman mantle after the death of Superman, Steel was ultimately recognized by Superman as an ally after he was resurrected. The offered box features 200 copies of “The Man of Steel” #22, presumably in near-mint to mint condition, resting inside the original shipper box. Please note that the tape on the box has popped.
