THE ORIGINAL STATUES HAD MANY PROBLEMS, WHICH INCLUDED A VERY BAD PAINT JOB, A CAPE THAT DID NOT FIT, A SUPERMAN INSIGNIA THAT WAS WRONG AND THE STATUE HAD A LEAN TO ONE SIDE. TWEETERHEAD REDESIGNED THE STATUE AND ISSUED A NEW CORRECTED VERSION WHICH TOOK ABOUT 18 MONTHS. THE ORIGINAL VERSIONS WERE TO BE DESTROYED AS PER AGREEMENTS WITH TWEETERHEAD. THE RE-DO STATUES WERE RELEASED WITH OUT AN ART BOX, ONLY A STYROFOAM BOX AND A SHIPPER. THE STATUE IN THIS LISTING IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES. THE STATUE SEEN IN THE PICTURE IS THE EXACT STATUE LISTED. THIS STATUE WAS OPENED TO INSPECT AND TO PHOTOGRAPH. IT WAS THEN REPACKED WITH BETTER MATERIALS.
