The original 1938 ACTION COMIC #1 is considered by collectors as the HOLY GRAIL of comics because of the low number that actually exist. With a print run of approximately 200,000 in 1938, less than 100 are thought to be in existence, and CGC has only graded seven unrestored copies of Action Comics No. 1 over a 6.0 grade. Over the years this comic has broken records for the worlds most expensive comic. 2014 (3.21 million) 9.0 CGC graded (w/white pages). What makes this reprint just as special as the original is that it is part of a limited number of signed copies (851/2000) by superman creator Jerry Siegel. (Jerry Siegel October 17,1914 – January 28, 1996). Even better it has been graded by CGC receiving a high grade of 9.8. Prior to CGC coming into existence back in 2000 there were no third-party comic book grading services. At the time Dynamic Forces was the worlds leading supplier of signed comics and only Certificate Of Authenticities were provided.
