IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT GRADING AND SIGNATURE AUTHENTICATION! CGC issues a yellow label when a CGC representative is present and witnesses the signing. Jerry Siegel signed these books for us at Dynamic Forces in 1992 and 1993 before CGC existed. I was president at the time. Since the books were signed before CGC existed they obviously couldn’t give the books a “witnessed” yellow label so currently CGC uses a green label in our case. More importantly, no person or organization on planet earth has personally witnessed Jerry Siegel sign his name more times (over 6,000 instances) than myself and my former partner Nick Barrucci (current owner of Dynamic Forces). We personally witnessed every signature made for us by Jerry and still have the original contracts signed by Jerry, executed by his family member attorney Dennis Larson. With all due respect to the fine experts at CGC, JSA and PGX that certify comics and authenticate signatures, none of these representatives personally ever witnessed Jerry sign any of the books he provided for us at Dynamic Forces over thirty years ago. Nick, myself and several members of our staff were present at all the Jerry Siegel comic book signings including Action #1 reprint, Superman #75, Action #700 and Superman #82 to name a few.
