Action Comics #52 CGC 3.0 Brazilian Edition 1944 Foreign Scarce Restored 1 of 1
Action Comics #52 CGC 3.0 Brazilian Edition 1944 Foreign Scarce Restored 1 of 1 on CGC census. Extremely scarce Brazilian golden age comic book. This was released 1 year and 8 months after the original US printing. 99% of Brazilian books will have some form of conservation or restoration performed on them and be in the 1.0-4.0 range from my experience. Brazilians were very pro active in making sure to preserve their golden age comics to survive the extreme climates you can find over there. Tape on inside of front and back covers are more than normal from what I have experiemced in 3.5 years of collecting these editions. Major plus side this does retain its original staples which is a MAJOR plus aa most are found without them. Brazilians removed staples normally to help conserve the books because the climate would rust them and spread throughout the book. If you’re a golden age Superman collector this is a grail that is way more scarce than the US Action Comics #52. I have seen this book pop up once for sale in 3.5 years. This book contains “The Emperor of America” story from Action Comics #52. “The Crime on Ice” Zatara story from Action Comics #52. Sing a Song of Six Guns! Vigilante story from Action Comics #52. The Americommando and the Cinema Saboteur! Story from Action Comics #53. The Johnny Thunder Cei-U!!! Story from Flash Comics #23 1041. Also includes the “Nips the Nipponese” Shadow story from Shadow Comics #18 from 1942 & the “Shadow as he Appears on the Radio Presented in the Comics” story from Shadow Comics #23 from 1943.
