SUPERMAN Custom (Fan Art) Statues – Alex Ross-style (2-piece Set); 1:4 scale Painted. This is for a pair of custom, Fan Art, Superman statues. A limited commission (unknown studio), produced circa 2010, drawing inspiration from artwork by Alex Ross. Very good sculpt and good paint application, fully finished, ready to display! Enjoy it as-is, or have it professionally repainted. This is a great, unique collectible for the Superman/Justice League/DC Universe fan! Priced to sell because I need to make space. These statues are ready for their new homes, ideally with an appreciative collector! Paint schemes are in two styles. (1) “Adopted Son” – Classic Superman costume, depicting an earlier aged hero in Alex Ross style. (2) “Elder Son” – Kingdom Come style comic series (also Alex Ross), more mature hero. Depicts an older hero. Portraits : Both portraits/heads are interchangeable if you want to mix it up — they look great either way. Portraits have good detailing and applies different paint finishes for realism. Assembly : The body is one piece, while the portraits rest atop (no magnets) and fit well. Capes are molded resin, and hang over the shoulders of each figure. Dimensions & Scaling : Statues stand about 18 inches tall. Roughly 1:4 scale, but feels a little smaller — in between 1:4 and 1:5 scale, but still larger than 1:5 scale. All others please inquire.
