Action Comics #55 from December, 1942. Fair to Good condition with supple off-white to white pages. Solid book with an unrestored overall look and feel; there is some “dried glue” along the inside spine of the covers/first interior page wrap the covers are detached and were previously glued along the spine to the interior; the old glue has since lost its effectiveness and the covers are detached again, so there is what CGC would call “dried glue” i. Glue residue that no longer serves any purpose. Covers are almost fully separated along the spine (currently just attached for about a 1/2 near the bottom, so they could fully split pretty easily). Multiple 1/2″ to 1″ tears to covers. Some paper loss top and middle back cover spine. Centerfold detached but present. A lower grade copy which I would normally call “Fair” but it has a nice look to it, so I think the slight bump up to “Fair to Good” is justified. Solid, affordable Golden Age WWII Superman comic!
