Superman #165 1963 CGC Graded 4.5 Just Graded-New Holder. I just got this book back from CGC. It graded 4.5 and it looks very nice in the new holder. I said I was interested so he came back with a comic storage box with 80 Silver Age comics from 1957 to 1969 which is in the time frame I read comics as a kid, specifically 1958 to 1964. All the books were in heavy mylar sleeves and I could tell the comics were in nice condition and he took care of them! We made the deal and I brought home 80 comics. I was not a comic collector but I looked at each book and remembered so many of the classic covers. After I spent time looking through them I put them back in the storage box and put the box on a shelf in my storage room. Those comics sat on that shelf for 40 years. In January I started to clean out my storage room and there was the box of comics. I went through them carefully and was surprised at the overall excellent condition they were in. In the end I decided to send them to CGC for grading. The grades were pretty much as I expected with some books grading higher and some books grading lower but the majority were about what I had graded. Every comic book in the new holders looked beautiful no matter what the grade was! If you have questions please message me.
